With paltry weapons and the name Al-Asifa (‘The Storm’) Fateh lead by Arafat begins guerrilla raids against Israel with an abortive bombing of the national water carrier in the Galilee March 21, 1968
An Israeli army attack on PLO base at Karameh, Jordan, inflicts heavy losses, but is seen as victory for Arafat and his group; thousands join PLO في الاول من يناير 1965 نفذت حركة فتح تحت شعار العاصفة وبأسلحة بالية اول عملية ضد اسرائيل من خلال تفجير ناقل المياه في الجليل في 21 مارس 1968 هاجمت اسرائيل قاعدة لمنظمة التحرير الفلسطينية في منطقة الكرامة في الاردن مما كبد المنظمة خسائر فادحة ولكنه اعتبر نصر لعرفات والمنظمة بالتحاق الالاف بمنظمة التحرير |
